For the last three years, North Adams SteepleCats owner John DeRosa and General Manager Sean McGrath have tended to their proud organization one fruitful season at a time. Under their leadership, North Adams has become a model NECBL city ? competitive on the field with a dedicated fan base off it.

NORTH ADAMS -- A Lowe's home improvement store is still in the works for the defunct North Adams Plaza on Curran Highway, but the state won't rule on whether or not the store's plans are "green" enough until the end of October.

NORTH ADAMS ? Gear up, folks, it's time for the Fall Foliage Parade in North Adams, and this year's theme salutes sports fans. Uniforms are optional. "This year's parade will include more than 75 entries," said Rod Bunt, parade director.
